About the Item
This contemporary jewelry collection originally started as sculptures made with cubes of smoky quartz by artist Polya Medvedeva. Later on, these art pieces were transformed into a jewelry collection consisting of rings, pendants, and cufflinks.
The collection's transparency and the unique whiskey color of smoky quartz, or the darker shade of morion (which is much darker than what can be displayed on screens), caught the attention of fashion editors and celebrities alike. The collection has been featured in Harper's Bazaar UA and Vogue UA published issues.
These cufflinks, made of 14 karat rose gold and 15x15x8 mm smoky quartz, are incredibly elegant and attractive on a wrist. The pair can also be ordered in other colors such as rose quartz, transparent rock crystal, dark black morion, or white delicate opal.
The Ink collection offers pendants, rings, earrings, cufflinks, and bracelets of different sizes and gem colors, all specially cut for the artist.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
