Apple Computer Logo Cufflinks in 18K Gold with Gemstones by von Zadora-Gerlof

About the Item

Replicating the "rainbow" Apple logo, these one-of-a-kind cufflinks were expertly handmade in solid 18K yellow gold with sapphire and ruby cabochons and inlaid chalcedony, citrine, amethyst, prasiolite and rose quartz. The cufflinks are signed "ZADORA" and "18K." Each of the cufflink faces measures 14.5 by 18.8mm in size. The Apple "rainbow" colors are represented by bands of inlaid semiprecious stones, while the toggle backs are set with cabochon-cut rubies and sapphires. Together the cufflinks weigh a substantial 11.67 grams. Jeweler and sculptor Andreas von Zadora-Gerlof is renowned for highly intricate pieces, some large-scale and others - like these cufflinks - small enough to fit on the wrist. All of his jewelry is custom-made; these cufflinks were commissioned by the original owner and are completely unique. The cufflinks are in very good vintage condition, showing a very light patina. The inlaid stones show natural inclusions which cause a beautiful play of light with movement. The cufflinks come with their original, fitted leather box. An utterly unique conversation piece, suitable for a designer, musician, developer, investor or anyone who loves Apple products.
