Certified Untreated Jade Cufflinks circa 1950 from Hong Kong Falconer Jewellers

About

Originally opened in 1855, Falconer Jewellers has become an iconic Hong Kong landmark, situated within the extraordinarily posh and sumptuous Peninsula Hong Kong hotel. Over its many years as an exclusive fine jeweler in a most remarkable location—as much a global embassy as it is a five-star luxury hotel—Falconer Jewellers has welcomed monarchs, movie stars, visiting dignitaries and many a bride-to-be through its hallowed doors. These extraordinary certified natural and untreated jadeite jade cufflinks were hand-crafted by Falconer Jewellers circa 1950-1969. Of extraordinary quality, each cufflink features a hand-carved and pierced plaque of natural and untreated jadeite jade from Burma, in the coveted "moss on snow" coloring. Each hand-carved jade plaque sits within its own unique hand-fabricated framework of 14k yellow gold, which has been formed to perfectly match the contours of the stone. Bullet style closures assure these cufflinks can slip through the slightest of holes, making them perfectly unisex. Because "moss on snow" is such a startling proposition—opaque, snow-white jade splashed with vivid green—it is certainly among the most desirable colors of jade and also one most likely to be dyed or polymer impregnated or both. But these stones are 100% natural. And of course, if you know jade, you know it instantly. You can feel it in your chest. But it's still nice to have a laboratory report and that will ship with these rare cufflinks. For those who want a unique and "important" pair of cufflinks to wear with a white tuxedo or a fine black tail coat or simply desire an auspicious pair of cufflinks to wear at the next board meeting, here they are. Can you not image Grace Kelly buying these as a gift for the king she loved and married? They are just exactly *that" stylish. These cufflinks will ship in their mint-condition original box. Both are hallmarked. They will also ship with a report from Stone Group Labs stating that they are natural and untreated.
