About the Item

Cufflinks and Stud set, also called a dress set, Lapis Lazuli and diamond 18K French in yellow and white gold. The 8 fine blue lapis match well in both their cabochon cut and vivid blue color. The diamonds surrounding each lapis are bead set in 18K white gold. The estimated diamond weight is 1.25 cts. The diamonds are all near colorless (H), and very slightly included (VS1). This six piece set is in fine condition. The cufflinks detach (the gold bar opens), for ease of putting on and taking off. The cufflinks measure .5 inches across and are 1.25 inches in length, measuring from the top of the lapis cabs. The shirt studs measure just over .25 inches across the stud. Cufflinks are generally worn by men - except in the 19th century when they were also worn by women. For a jeweled decoration, cufflinks have always been a popular accessory.
