White Enamel, Diamond and Gold Cufflinks, Art Deco, 1920s
About the Item
An Art Deco pair of white enamel, diamond and gold cufflinks, ca. 1920s. They are square shaped, each with an old cut diamond in the centre and a geometric white enamel border - inspired by Egyptian architecture.
The elegant combination and contrast of the white enamel with the diamond and gold gives the cufflinks a unique and universal design. They are subtle, yet distinguished and can be worn on any occasion - casually or formally in the summer or snowy months, which also makes them a wonderful individualistic gift for a gentleman.
The cufflinks are versatile as they can be detached and worn as buttons. They have the maker marks 'GL' as well as another rubbed workshop or maker mark.
