About the Item

These earrings are handcrafted from 18ct yellow gold and the large natural cognac diamond stud sits on the ear lobe. The cognac diamonds total 1.90ct and the stunning large ethical Gemfield's Zambian emerald pear shaped stones total 19.96ct. Longest point (including chains): 8 cm widest point: 2.5 cm They are studs for pierced ears with alpha back fittings The emeralds are set so that the structure holding them securely can not be seen through the stone. This means that when worn, the light passes directly through the emerald and creates a stunning 'glowing' ethereal effect. The individual units between each section are hand articulated meaning that the earrings have a good movement and look elegant when worn. These earrings were worn to the Oscars in Los Angeles in 2013 , by the wife of legendary music producer, Paul Epworth. He won an Oscar that year for his collaboration with Adele on the song 'Skyfall'. To handcraft these earrings it will take approximately 4-6 weeks. These important exquisite earrings are a unique limited edition creation and are made to order in London using the finest craftsmanship and materials. They are from Ana de Costa's award winning Spiritual Henna collection and were the hero piece which inspired the rest of the collection.
