About the Item
Harriet Bauknight designed those stunning lucite clip-on earrings for her brand Kaso in the 1980s. The massive donut dangling shape with a geometric design features dimensional multilayer Lucite elements with inclusions. The pieces boast a contrasting pattern in transparent and mirrored textures and a bright palette with flame red, yellow, and orange colors. The rotating clip back and design are an unmistakable brand signature, although the earrings are unsigned.
The earrings are in good condition, with minor stress crazing inside one earring over time due to the making process.
Measurements: 1.69 in wide (4.2 cm) x 2.75 in long (6.9 cm) x 0.38 in thick (1 cm).
