A stunning pair of vintage 16.78 carat Ceylon sapphire and 4.26 carat diamond, 9k white gold drop earrings; part of our diverse pearl jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
These stunning, fine and impressive vintage oval cut sapphire earrings have been crafted in 9k white gold.
Each articulated drop has a stunning, feature four claw set Ceylon sapphire, in a combination of cushion and oval cut.
The sapphires each support three individually claw set marquise cut diamonds, articulating from the lower border.
The linear drops are each composed of two claw set marquise cut diamonds, with an oval cut diamond to the apex.
The earrings secure to the reverse with hallmarked, platinum butterfly fastenings.
These 1960s sapphire drop earrings been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 karat gold.
The stunning Ceylon sapphire earrings are supplied with a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*, in addition to a diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the blue sapphire originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity.

Condition
These stunning 1960s drop earrings are exceptional quality, set with stunning Ceylon sapphires displaying fine color, brilliance and presence.
The very high color and clarity graded diamonds display a fine white color, brilliance and presence.
The earrings are an exceptional gauge of gold and are in excellent condition.
