Antique Dangling Drop goold Earrings Lapis Lazuli Diamonds
About the Item
These elegant dangling earrings were made out of 14 karat gold in 1870 ca. The earrings are in designed in Greek revival taste. The earrings consists of tops set with a lapis lazuli bead with hooks that come with a safety device. From a short chains highlighted by a small diamonds hang curved elements from which three articulated drops shaped lapis lazuli elements per earring are suspended. The two lower drops are connected to the gold element a by pieces of gold chain decorated with small diamonds.
The hooks are marked with Austrian gold hallmarks for 14 karat. The earrings were acid tested for 14 karat.
