About the Item

An impressive pair of contemporary 3.10 carat sapphire and 0.90 carat diamond, platinum and 18 karat white gold drop earrings; part of our diverse sapphire jewelry collections These fine and impressive sapphire drop earrings have been crafted in platinum, with 18k white gold posts and butterfly fastenings. Each earring displays a feature cabochon cut blue sapphire, bezel set to the terminal of a linear drop. The sapphire settings suspend from an articulated linear drop, consisting of a marquise shaped setting and diamond set link. Each linear drop is ornamented with one marquise cut and four eight-cut diamonds, displayed in a combination of claw and pavé settings. The arrangement suspends from a millegrain decorated, pave set modern brilliant round cut diamond to the upper border of the design. The earrings secure to the reverse of the upper diamond via a 18k white gold post and butterfly fastening, the butterflies hallmarked with the 18k gold fineness mark 750. These contemporary blue sapphire and diamond drop earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The earrings are supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
