About the Item

These are a spectacular pair of Georgian Era Pendant Day and Night Earrings. They are crafted from sterling silver with 14K ear wires. These earrings are covered in rose cut diamonds, all presented and accounted for. The top of the ear wires are testing at about 14K where as the balance of the earrings are crafted from sterling silver. The ear wires hook into a small loop at the back of the earrings (back to front closures). These earrings are also day and night earrings as well as a pendant. There are two pear shaped rose cut diamonds and one oval cut in each earring that have articulation. The balance is all rose cuts (74 additional diamonds in each earring). Each stone is set in a closed back setting in silver. The earrings have great movement when worn. They are in wonderful very wearable condition. I do see some old soldier work on the back of one, but nothing to be concerned about as far as stability or structure. I have been unable to locate any hallmarks on these beauties, but they tested as natural diamonds, sterling silver and approximately 14K ear wire tops. The diamonds are all foil-backed. The foil is in very good condition. These diamonds are eye clean with the color a bit hard to tell with the foil backing. These earrings may not be in touch with water at any time, as it will destroy the foil backing and offer a darkened color look to the diamonds.
