About the Item
A pair of lotus earrings by Ilgiz F, each earring with a champlevé enamelled lotus bud, with diamond encrusted pedicel, suspending a saltwater cultured pearl, all in yellow gold mount with post and scroll fitting, hallmarked 18ct gold, London, made by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, measuring approximately 2.7 x 1.2cm, gross weight 13grams.
A splendid pair of earrings from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. These graceful earrings were made by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, a widely recognized master in the art of jewellery. These earrings are in the shape of a lotus bud, shaded beautifully in shades of pink and green. Diamonds and cultured pearls add luminosity to this spectacular pair of earrings, which would pair beautifully with a summer tea dress. Ilgiz Fazulzyanov has twice been awarded the grand prize at the International Jewellery Design Excellence Awards, and his work is held in the collection of world-renowned museums including the Kremlin Museum in Moscow.
