Paul Amey "Lemon Sherbet" Sterling Silver Lemon Quartz and Diamond Earrings
About the Item
Paul Amey’s “Lemon Sherbet” earrings are totally unique and completely handcrafted and created by Paul Amey. These signature molten edge natural lemon quartz, diamond and pearl earrings were crafted from Sterling Silver (tarnish resistant) with 9K and 18K yellow gold and green enamel. These molten edge earrings are overlaid with 9K yellow gold vine and stylized leaves, with feature natural briolette shaped lemon quartz drops, a Keshi pearl in each and with diamonds scattered throughout the design.
The “Lemon Sherbet” earrings each contain round white brilliant diamonds being a 22pt E/F SI, a 10pt E/F SI and a 6pt E/F SI1. All stones are rub set in 18ct yellow gold. The Briolette quartz drops are 12mm x 8mm each. The butterfly fittings are 9ct yellow gold.

The “Lemon Sherbet” earrings were designed and hand crafted by multi award-winning jeweller Paul Amey in Australia. Stamped with his registered makers mark and precious metal marks. The “Lemon Sherbet” earrings were designed and completed with over 24 hours labour and finished in June 2023. All components are masterfully handcrafted by Paul Amey with no casting or 3D imaging used. Diamond and stone settings were all carried out by Paul Amey.
The earrings are 13mm across and 42mm top to bottom of quartz stone. Total weight 11.7 grams.

Paul Amey Jeweller
PAUL AMEY is an ARTIST, DESIGNER, MASTER GOLDSMITH and a fellow of the Gold & Silversmiths Guild of Australia. Paul Amey was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia with one grandfather a watchmaker, the other a jeweller. Jewellery was obviously in his blood! Paul has been a designer and manufacturing jeweller for over 50 years and is well renowned for his work in creating and producing beautiful high-quality jewellery with a dramatic flair completely by hand. Paul is still passionate about designing and producing special pieces. “I have fun with jewellery and so should customers - I give people choices they don’t get from other jewellers.” Paul has seen a great number of design changes and influences come and go, but he says “the fundamentals have always remained the same skilful design, excellent craftsmanship and an attention to detail.” Like the masters of old, using time-honoured techniques, he is creating modern masterpieces. “Each custom piece is crafted completely by hand, no computers, no mass production. My pieces are absolute original works of art, whether they be made from silver, gold or platinum.” Paul has a strong desire and flair for dramatic pieces, an early example being the making of the perpetual Western Australian Gold Swan Award. Also in recognition of his hand craftsmanship was the acceptance of his work by Sotheby's under its Art Category and recently being the recipient of two Precious Metal Awards.
