Robert Lee Morris made so much gorgeous jewelry for Donna Karan over the years and this is a very rare pair of one of his best. Dramatic, luxurious drop dead statement earrings that are elegant and classic. Never go out of style. Rare because
Robert did not do much jewelry with stones in his career, focusing more on metals and patina colorations. Bold Gold was the nickname for the trend of big scale gold plated jewelry that Robert and Donna spawned upon the fashion world, globally. The large pear shaped golden bead that is the hanging element is sheer sensuality. There is a cluster of little golden droplets, balls and teardrops that add a fabulous texture to counter play off the big blob of gold that hangs at the bottom. Clips that are easy to wear as the earrings are not too heavy even though they look kind of massive. The clips are strong and the look is killer. The faint pink color of the stone is a feminine touch, surrounded in a simple bezel setting.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. These earrings are in mint condition, with very little to no wear visible. There is some darkened patina in the cluster of little balls which adds depth to the entire design. The rich gold plated brass is still so stunning.
