Swedish Silver Earrings Made by Master Sigurd Persson Year, 1956
About the Item
These silver earrings have a matte surface and gilded fronts, and with that they convey a certain elegance, but since the shape of the earrings is similar to a fairy tale toad foot, they also have a playful look. The shafts of the earrings are beautifully twisted and they have so called screw backs, like many of the earrings had during the early 1900s through the 1950s.
