Fourteen Karat Rose Gold Fig Cocktail Transformer Earrings with Rose Quartzes
About the Item
These Fig Fruits cocktail earrings, designed by the Berlin-based artist and oil painter Polya Medvedeva, are made of 14 karat rose gold with detachable cabochon cut rose quartz drops. They were featured in Vogue UA.
The detachable drops allow for a customizable look, and the earrings can be ordered with blue topazes, green, lemon or smoky quartzes, dark purple or light lavender amethysts, garnets, or other gems.
The sugar fig fruit is equivalent to the Bible's forbidden apple, and fig leaves were the only clothes for the first humans in the Garden of Paradise. In ancient myths, fig trees symbolized peace, fertility, generosity, and the richness of life.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
