Antique Chinese Bead Earrings of Coral, Turquoise and 18K Yellow Gold

About the Item

These earrings take you back to ancient Chinese times. Due to the overall shapes, style, and feeling. Embellished with beads of rich red coral, unforgettable sky turquoise. Set in delicious 18 karat gold. Certainly the more you look at them, the more intricate design you find. In turn, presenting more reasons to enjoy and love them. Both the coral and turquoise beads are 19th century Chinese. The end result is a delightful antique style incorporated into a modern-day piece to be appreciated. A dome set with beads of warming coral circulated around. Above and below a rope effect gold twists its way around the dome. Creating a border to the coral. Further beads of gold stand proudly above and below the twisted gold. Forming sections to the shape. The coral and gold beads are elevated from the dome, this creates a wonderful three-dimensional structure to the earrings. Furthermore, another flourish of striking style. Following the earring down you are met with a much larger dome form. This decorated in both circular and teardrop beads of turquoise. The mix in shapes adds another feature to the design. The turquoise pieces spread evenly around the shape. Between each bead are further gold embellishments, like stunning embroidery so finely detailed. This provides such a stunning overall effect. The ornate additions continue to adorn the lower dome of the earrings. As a result, creating patterns and shapes, not just in themselves, but within the spaces in-between. Well crafted and intricately detailed work. Rich 18 karat gold, sky blue turquoise, and warm coral, all working together to create something similar to that of a sunset over a glistening sea.
