About the Item

A fine and impressive pair of antique 5.50 carat chalcedony and 0.106 carat diamond, 15 karat yellow gold and platinum set drop earrings; part of our antique drop earring collection. These fine and impressive antique drop earrings are crafted in 15k yellow gold with platinum settings. Each earring displays an impressive feature claw set cabochon cut chalcedony to the lower portion. The feature gemstones are each suspended from an array of four collet set Dutch cut diamonds. These fine earrings, for pierced ears, suspend from plain yellow gold French hook fittings. These earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 karat gold and platinum. These impressive earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. Such antique examples composed with a chalcedony and diamonds are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition These original antique earrings are excellent quality, set with impressive chalcedony displaying fine color, brilliance and presence. The high color and clarity graded diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. The earrings are an excellent gauge of gold and platinum and are in excellent condition.
