A fabulous pair of antique Georgian drop earrings from the early 1800s decorated with glistening old mine and pear cut paste stones collet set in fancy galleries that together resemble two birds.
Paste is a transparent flint glass that is cut to simulate the beauty and sparkle of gemstones. Clear pastes have the dazzling sparkle of diamonds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
They’re both in excellent condition, fashioned in silver with 18ct gold wires and links.
