Antique Victorian 18K Gold Coral Etruscan Revival Long Drop Earrings C 1860
About the Item
A pair of authentic, very fine Victorian period coral and 18K yellow gold earrings, possibly Italian, in the Etruscan Revival style, immensely fashionable at the time and inspired by jewels unearthed at archaeological digs in ancient Etruria.
These antique earrings feature very delicate craftsmanship with granulation and twisted wirework. They are very long- 7 cm and nicely articulated but not heavy, set with nice quality natural medium salmon colour coral cabochons and long polished drops in great condition.
Overall, a very delicate and elegant pair of antique earrings, all original, in very good wearable condition, with no defects to coral and delicate gold mounts.
Item specifications: 1.5 diameter of the central floret, 7 cm long, 18K yellow gold tested and weighs 7.3 grams.
