A pair of 18ct & Platinum, diamond set, Art Deco drop earrings. Each earring is claw set at the base with an Early European Brilliant Cut Diamond on an articulated long drop set with single and rose cut diamonds, fitted with continental clips.

Diamond: One early European brilliant cut, H colour, SI2 clarity, 6.48mmx6.57mmx3.86mm, estimated weight 1.05ct
Diamonds: Four single cuts, I-J colour, SI clarity, total estimated weight 0.08ct
Diamonds: Twelve rose-cut, 1.10mm-1.20mm

The Art Deco name comes from the 1925 “Exposition Internationale de Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes” in Paris. A more relatively modern style, Art Deco was all about the geometry and symmetry. Rampant throughout the 20’s and 30’s, Art Deco used stones such as diamonds, sapphires and rubies to accentuate the stylized lines of the jewellery.
