Aventina-Spencer, Green Sapphire, Malaya Garnet, Faceted Tahitian Pearl Earrings

From a private Georgian Residence nestled in the seaside village of Glenarm on the scenic Antrim coastline of Northern Ireland, Aventina-Spencer present an eclectic collection of Fine Jewellery and objects of art. The ever changing collection is curated with a discerning eye and a clear emphasis on jewellery as art. Whilst the focus is on unique, one-of-a-kind, contemporary pieces of wearable art the collection features treasures spanning all ages of human history. Aventina-Spencer was founded in 2019 by Master Goldsmith and Designer Dan Spencer and Gemologist/Designer Ashlee Spencer. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine and Applied Art from the University of Ulster Belfast, Dan made the transition from sculpture to goldsmithing. After more than 20 years at the bench, his design ethic clearly reflects his sculptural background, post-modernist ethic and passion for experimentation with metallurgical techniques. Ashlee, after receiving a Bachelor of the Arts in Fine Art from Mercer University in the United States, studied at the Gemological Institute of America. Ashlee is a GIA Diamonds, Colored Stones and Pearl Graduate and has over 30 years experience in the jewellery trade. Her love of fine art and jewellery history has led to a design ethic inspired by fine European tradition and exploratory use of colour and materials.
