Burma Ruby Diamond Gold Earring and Necklace Suite
About the Item
The unique design inspired by the avant garde stlyle of the Retro era was the creation the proprietor while living in Germany in the 1970s. Known for their amazing craftsmanship the jewelry shop was inspired to make this suite into the masterpiece it is now. The barrel-shaped earrings were crafted into circular discs starting with one channel set with deep lush red beautiful step-cut Burma rubies with the next disc alternating with bright white and sparkly round brilliant cut diamonds. To give these earrings more contrast, the diamonds where set in white gold while the rubies are set in yellow gold. The extended curved polished gold tube which hides the clip-back is flexible to the bottom of the earring, giving it movement on the ear.
This same cool style was repeated on the central necklace ornament, which is clipped on so that the chain can also be worn on its own for more casual occasions..
