Dramatic Long Citrine, Burma, no heat, Ruby and Diamond 18K Vintage Earrings
About the Item
Fancy cut long natural citrine, natural Burma, no heat, ruby and diamond 18K earrings. These long and dramatic earrings are quite unusual. Set in 18 yellow gold and accented with round brilliant cut diamonds These 24 diamonds are well matched, near colorless, G/H, and very slightly included. The top 6 natural round Burma rubies, with no heat, are a bright vivid red - called "in the trade" pigeon blood. The rubies weigh an estimated 2.5 cts.
The citrines are a bright golden yellow and are estimated to weigh 40 cts. They are very clean of inclusions and are well matched.
These earrings are 2-5/8th inches in length. It is very difficult to find such large, well cut and matched and long fancy marquise shaped citrines in the market today. Mid-20th century, these earrings are now for a pierced ear and can be altered to accommodate a pierced ear.
