Eighteen Karat Yellow Gold Tahitian Black Pearls Drop Earrings with Diamonds
About the Item
These Fig drop earrings are made of 18 karat yellow gold with detachable 11 mm Tahitian black pearls and two diamonds. These earrings were designed by the artist and were featured in a review by Vogue UA. We use top-quality natural diamonds with a VS clarity grade and F-G color grade, and we work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The combination of a favorite fruit and shining gold makes this piece a contemporary jewel by the artist, while the simplicity of the lines still gives it a classy look. The baroque pearls add elegance to any outfit, giving a classic touch to a strict black dress and shifting to a more sparkly attitude when paired with jeans.
The sweet and ripe dark purple figs are the source of inspiration for the artist Polya Medvedeva, whether in her oil paintings or jewelry designs. The fig fruit is an equivalent of the bible's forbidden apples, and the fig leaves were the only clothes for the first humans in the garden of paradise. In ancient myths, the fig tree symbolizes peace, fertility, generosity, and the richness of life.
