Floral Contemporary Earrings in Eighteen Karat Gold with Natural Round Diamonds
About the Item
These Plum Blossom floral contemporary earrings by the artist are made of 18 karat yellow gold and are encrusted with 10 round diamonds and amethyst cabochon drops that can be removed and attached. This jewellery collection was reviewed in November by Vogue UA. Each earring measures 2.6x1.7 cm, and the depth without a lock is 5 mm. We use top-quality natural diamonds with a VS, F-G grade and collaborate with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The sculptural design adds extra highlights to the surface of the gold. The diamonds add delicate blinks, and the cabochon drops allow maximum light exposure to showcase the gem's beauty. The gemstones can be exchanged for other gem drops, such as tanzanites, rose or lemon quartz, blue topazes, or red garnets.
These earrings are custom handmade. You can contact the artist to order them in white or rose gold, and you can also order them in gold-plated silver to make them lighter or as clip-on earrings. This is a limited edition jewellery collection designed by a painter from Berlin, Polya Medvedeva.
Plum blossoms symbolize the energy of life as they bloom in the late winter.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
