Pair of vintage Diamond and Emerald Drop Earrings
About the Item
A pair of vintage diamond and emerald drop earrings, each set with a pear-shaped Colombian emerald weighing 7.26 carats for the pair, suspended from a pear-shaped diamond top weighing 1.97 carats H colour and SI2 clarity and 2.09 carats I colour and VS2 clarity accompanied by GCS report, mounted in yellow gold and platinum, circa 1930, measuring approximately 2.5 x 1cm, gross weight 6.8g.
This vintage pair of earrings is in excellent condition. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold and platinum.
This stricking pair of earrings come from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Each earring features a dazzling pear-shaped diamond top from which is suspended a magnificent verdant green emerald. The diamonds are scintillating and complement the marvellous emeralds well. These spectacular earrings would pair wonderfully with a sleek evening gown.
