Sorab & Roshi
For over 30 years, husband and wife duo Sorab Bouzarjomehri and Roshi Ameri have built upon the principles of quality, creativity, and individuality to create their eponymous high-jewelry label. Established in 1988, Sorab & Roshi began as a word-of-mouth business with a line of one-of-a-kind fine jewelry. Known for their unorthodox approach and avant garde flair, the pair enamored a growing clientele with their whimsical style and dedication to craftsmanship. Coined “fantastical one-off creations” by The New York Times, Sorab & Roshi’s daring designs blur the lines between jewelry and art. Each jewel is an artistic exploration, a masterful alchemy of stones, metals, motifs and techniques, intended to create a piece of wearable art. “I try to capture movement, I try to capture the feeling of life in each piece, ” Sorab says. “Sitting and wrestling with each jewel is the most challenging part of my work. You have to have a connection with the piece, with the stones and raw materials. I think about what kind of stories they have to tell and I try to create that story. It’s like meditation for me, I’m infused into each and every piece.” This fresh and intentional ethos renders an outcome that is both unique and timeless. These are modern heirlooms meant to be cherished and passed on.
