0.44 Carat Emerald Cut White Diamonds 18K Yellow Gold Tears Earrings
About the Item
Inspired by the melting icebergs in Antarctica and their effect on the wildlife living in the area, the Tears Earrings took inspiration from nature, architecture, and Chinese calligraphy to create a minimalist yet metaphorical design. The Tears Earrings depict the moment when ice turns into water. The shape and structure of the designs took references from the antarctic animals’ skeletons, Parametricism architectures and Chinese calligraphy. Edward poetically created a design in a futuristic form and embedded it with heartfelt messages through the clever selection of materials and gemstones.
The Tears Earrings are a made-to-order item crafted using 100% recycled 18k white gold. The diamond is natural, ethically sourced and carefully selected by designer and founder Edward Xu, then set by hand in our London workshop with love and precision. The earrings are tested and hallmarked by the London Assay office, and it features an open-ended design which allows you to adjust their size slightly.
