Spectra Fine Jewelry Diamond Gold Hoop Earrings with Crosses
About the Item
The hoop is as playful as it is powerful. There is a reason this earring style is the anchor of many a jewelry box. These Contemporary Diamond Pavé Cross Drop Hoop Earrings, made in the 21st century, are a dazzling diamond attention-grabber with and edgy feel. Crafted in 18K white gold, each 1.5-inch diameter (3.81 cm) hoop is set with accented with 7 small crosses all the way around, finished with a small dangling cross that measures .88 inches long (2.24 cm). The pair is set with round pavé diamonds, weighing approximately 1.84 carats total.
Everyone loves movement and sparkle. And these hoops have it coming and going. The square crosses revolve around the full circle while the pointed cross lights up the night sky like a star. The two kinds of crosses depicted are the crux quadrata, or Greek cross, with four equal arms and the crux immissa, or Latin cross, whose base stem is longer than the other three arms. The design has a nicely chunky look without being too heavy and would make a perfect everyday pair as well as a conversation-starter for a night out on the town. The weight of the pair—14.55 grams—makes each earring comfortable to wear (a brand-new number 2 pencil weighs the same as one hoop).
The closure is super innovative, not needing to break the circle at all. The earrings are designed for pierced ears fitted with posts, and the hoop is custom curved to dip just under the earlobe and hug it comfortably. The diamond crosses are poised to dazzle, both on the front outside curve of the hoops and the back inside curves. All eyes will be on you, framed by your sparkling hoops.
