About the Item

A pair of antique 18K Yellow Gold earrings with drop-shaped pendants and delicate hand-engraved floral ornaments. Freely suspended dangles are hollow inside. Swedish hallmarks on both marked 18K Gold. Maker's marks unknown to me /worn, city of Stockholm. Date marks P4 = made in 1845 Each earring is 80 mm long suspended x 21 mm at widest. Weight: 7.3 grams pair. Condition is finest used, some natural patina on metal, no apparent dents or damage. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" ! Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
