Rare 1930’s ‘eisenberg’ Crystal Heart Pin Trio

Out of this world! A trio of pins in heart shapes and set with beautiful crystal marquis stones, likely Swarovski crystals, in a pewter colored metal. This suite of vintage 1930s Eisenberg heart pins would have been in women's furs during the 1930s and it is incredible that the trio remains together after all these years. I believe the heart pins were designed by Eisenberg, a high end fashion house in America, in the 1930s, the Art Deco period. A Trio of Crystal Heart Pins attributed to the legendary American Couture Company Eisenberg. Known for its use of Swarovski crystals, as well as superior craftsmanship and attention to detail, Eisenberg & Sons was one of the most highly regarded costume jewellery manufacturers in the 30s & '40s. Eisenberg & Sons began as a women’s clothing company in 1914, when Jewellery was simply garment decoration, to up the appeal. Eisenberg soon worked out - due to the theft of the jewels that there was a real appeal for their jewels and so their jewellery line was born. The rest is truly the most marvellous piece of fashion history! The Swarovski crystals and also the pewter colored metal in these Eisenberg heart pins is typical of Eisenberg pieces. Many early Eisenberg pieces were unsigned. Individually the Eisenberg heart pins look beautiful and together they make a real statement and centrepiece to any outfit. They can be worn in so many ways, down the arm or on a cap for a modern twist and the list goes on....gorgeous pinned into a faux fur coat or luxury knit or indeed sitting simply on a shirt, cocktail dress or jacket lapel.
