21st Century 18 Karat Gold Dragonfly Sapphire and Freshwater Pearl Necklace
About the Item
A gorgeous necklace of large silvery freshwater pearls, each about 1 centimetre in diameter, is completed by a large blue sapphire pendant. The pendant is framed with 18-karate rose gold and set with white diamonds. It supports a dainty white diamond and tsavorite-set dragonfly.
Seamless, the clasp of the necklace is set discreetly to the side of the pendant: 18-karat rose and white gold, it is set with tiny diamonds and appears delightfully as part of the design. It adds to the overall luxury of the piece.
The necklace is 47 centimetres long and weighs 75 grams.
If you haven't yet seen them, tsavorites are a gemstone from the garnet family that was discovered in 1967 in Tanzania and again in Kenya in 1971, near the Tsavo East National Park. Tiffany & Co took such an interest in this green gemstone which ranges in colour from light to a deep, rich green that they proposed the name tsavorite in honour of the park.

The FANCS V workshop is situated in the heart of Sicily's capital city, Palermo. The jeweller is a three-generation Sicilian family business owned and run by Simona Elia and her husband Natale Vitale. Created by Natale's grandfather, FANCS V has grown from a goldsmith shop into a design studio where Simona, who trained in Milan, contributes signature collections to complement the custom pieces Natale produces for a dedicated client base. For FANCS V, happiness is defined by the moment you receive your jewel and fall in love with it. Look for the company code PA266 stamped into all gold pieces, which indicate their authenticity.
