About the Item

Art deco Italian Cameo Necklace. Beautiful antique piece, created in Napoles Italy during the late Art-Deco period, circa 1930. This necklace was crafted in three tones of solid yellow, pink and white gold of 14 karats and suited with a boxed push lock. The main parts of the necklace are composed by 2 strands of faceted beads, carved from natural Brazilian orange Citrines gemstones, with a total weight of about 224 carats. Embellished with a large oval cameo, carved from natural sea-shell and mounted in an octagonal frame that is accented with one round brilliant cut diamonds, .08 carats, G/H color, VS-2 clarity. Has a total weight of 68.1 grams and a length of 18 Inches (45.75 Cm). The measures of the main drop element is 49 mm by 39 mm (1.93 x 1.54 Inches). Stamped, with the maker's mark and the Italian gold assay hallmark, “14 KT”. Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings.
