About the Item
Rare Coco Chanel sautoir necklace 1950's by Maison Gripoix. The Art Deco inspired long necklace is composed of imitation glass hand knotted pearls with a pair of fine emerald poured glass enamel articulated pendants, decorated with minute prong set crystals by the famed Maison Gripoix. Super versatile length.
A short version of this style of Chanel necklace in a similar shade of emerald poured glass enamel can be seen in the published work : Bijoux, Deanna Farneti Cera,Federico Motta Editore,2010. page 241.
