IRIS PARURE, since its establishment in 1953, has been crafting the finest quality pearl jewelry. The pearls of IRIS PARURE are cultivated in Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture, one of Japan's three major pearl-producing regions. Sourced from our developed BENI AKOYA (registered), these pearls exhibit a breathtaking iridescence, distinguishing themselves with the natural beauty and luxury that sets them apart from other pearl jewelry.
Mr. Kokichi Mikimoto, The founder of MIKIMOTO, took pride in pearls created through natural cultivation, eschewing any color treatments. However, since 1975, most pearls have undergone color treatments, with the majority of AKOYA pearls being dyed red.
In stark contrast, IRIS PARURE has steadfastly refrained from any dyeing processes since estabishment in 1953. We honor the innate beauty and shape of each pearl without resorting to color treatments. The pearls of IRIS PARURE undergo minimal and natural processing, making them the epitome of superior craftsmanship. By eschewing the prevalent modern processing techniques, IRIS PARURE's pearls are truly unique, each possessing a rare and distinctive value. Thanks to our exclusive processing techniques, often deemed once-in-a-century, these pearls retain their beauty over the years, allowing for enduring and cherished use.
