Handwoven circular discs woven in geometric patterns strung with chunky freshwater pearl nuggets, sustainable bamboo coral beads, fair-trade African pinstriped yellow & black glass seed beads, brass spacers beads and handmade hammered raw brass toggle clasp. This statement necklace is inspired by the Zulu people and their art of beadwork, particularly known as iziqu, medallions of war. Warriors would display their beads in criss cross form as a symbol of bravery. Lupita necklace is an artful and high quality artisanal luxury item, handmade with great care taken on craftsmanship and design.
