Rare Vintage coloured paste collar necklace, symbolic, Victorian style
About the Item
A rare Vintage paste collar necklace.
It is made in the Victorian style, very heavy and substantial with an incredible design!
Made in Germany by Paul Stikklelorum, the compact are still in production today and produce high quality and highly regarded paste and costume jewellery.
Crafted in a silver plated brass alloy, signature to the company it is a collar necklace with links of brightly coloured paste stones in different cuts and shapes.
Each paste stone has a symbolic finial to the end of the mount, the symbols include suns, acorns, stars and flowers.
The necklace closes with a clip box clasp and it is marked on the reverse Stikklelorum.
A truly beautiful and exceptional piece of costume jewellery.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, a little wear to the plating on the clasp.
