A magnificent and substantial tiger eye necklace with a dreamy portrait pendant from the heart of the 1980s. Long and significant, the necklace is composed of 23 multi-dimensional tiger eye stones in irregular rectangular shapes, intersected by delicate spacer balls in tiger’s eye and rich 14ct gold. Suspended by way of a gold and diamond link, the 3x3cm square pendant is lined in the stone’s mystical golden-brown hues and centred by an articulated female figurine face. Two sparkling round brilliant-cut diamond eyes give an almost ethereal presence to this vintage beauty, artfully portrayed in relief in velvety 14ct gold with a smooth finish. The bottom edges are hugged in gold hinges, and the back is stamped 14K. Big, bold, and beautiful, this delightful work of wearable art could only hail from the mod period of the 1980s.
