Vintage Art Deco Coral Spades and Beads Necklace, Italy

About the Item

An Art Deco 1930's coral necklace set with a coral cabochon stone round closure. This lovely necklace - originally from Italy - has a gorgeous design of many panels which are all of different sizes and become smaller towards the clasp. Each individual geometrical coral spade panel is cut and polished smoothly by hand and in between coral beads are placed. The round clasp is crafted of gilt metal with a star design and grooved lines with a round coral cabochon on top in the center. The necklace is in very good condition and of high quality, it has retained its rich tone and shimmers with the mild charm of the Deco era. It is difficult to capture the real color of coral in the pictures, but for sure it is a beautiful one. All spades are intact and the closure works well. The length of the necklace is 43.5 centimeters. The necklace will be gift-wrapped in a black and gold jewelry box.
