About the Item
A handsome antique Art Deco era 18ct yellow gold and platinum Albert chain.
As perfect piece, this is very high quantity and well made a truly fine piece, it has very rich yellow gold paperclip style links intercepted with cool platinum links in the same link design.
The chain fastens with a dog clip fastener to one end and a spring ring to the other.
It is not as heavy as the earlier Albert chains with the focus being more on the materials and design and these were more common in the late Edwardian and Art Deco periods.
A classic staple for any jewellery collection, these chains never go out of style and are as wearable today as they were back then.
Perfect for showcasing your favourite antique pocket or fob watch or wearing as a necklace.

Marked with a tag to the chain 18c, Art Deco era c1920, electronically tests as 18ct gold and platinum.

Good used condition overall, some very light surface wear commensurate with age, general signs of use.
