An Edwardian Platinum Seed Pearl And Diamond Chain
About the Item
A platinum seed pearl and diamond chain, the chain set throughout with seed pearls, measuring approximately 2-3mm in diameter, alternately set with 42 spectacle-set old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 2 carats in total, all set to a platinum chain with bolt clasp, circa 1910, measuring approximately 42x0.3cm, gross weight 4.6 grams.
This antique chain/necklace is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as platinum.
This elegant and delicate Edwardian platinum chain is set with lovely seed pearls and sparkling diamonds, which are a classic and sophisticated combination. This pretty chain necklace comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would look gorgeous with a simple dress.
