Signature Victorian Inspired 14k Gold Paper Clip Link Chain
About the Item
When we came across a fabulous Victorian era watch chain in silver, we fell in love with its textured paper clip links and knew we needed to make a version of the necklace in gold. We made molds from the original links, and then created a 14k gold chain inspired by the original piece. The chain features elongated paperclip links engraved with a scalloped texture that catches the light and elevates the classic link to something even more beautiful and unique.
The links were individually caste and the chain was put together by hand. We added a patina to give it the same antique look that we loved so much about the original Victorian chain. The necklace also features a 14k gold lobster clasp.
At 19 1/2” inches, this chain is a great length to wear alone, and also can be paired with an extender clasp to hang a pendant. The chain weighs 19 grams.
Since we made this piece, it is possible for us to add links for a longer chain. Reach out if you’d like this piece to be customized for your desired length.
