Vintage Christian Dior Braided Chain Necklace, 1950s

Vintage 1958 Christian Dior braided chain necklace in gold plate. This heritage necklace comprises four chains twisted together and held in place with polished elements to create a decorative draped, braided look. The necklace sits at choker length. Length 16 inches, width 1/2 inch with a box clasp closure. Very good condition with some minor wear commensurate with age and minor kinks in places on the chains which are not visible when worn. Made by Grosse for Christian Dior.
Stamped with the CD (Christian Dior) logo, Grosse, 1958.
