About the Item
This Celestial Dancer Devata pendant necklace is made of 18 karat yellow gold with cushion mandarine red spessartine 3,1 carats, pear cut Malaya garnet 1,1 carats, and 7 small diamonds. It is a cabinet of curiosities hidden treasure, an homage to Hindu stone sculptures, discovered in India, a mini copy of big statues of Devatas in strange unnatural for human poses.
This piece is designed by a painter Polya Medvedeva (Berlin). It continues religious inspiration tradition of the artist. Polya Medvedeva jewellery designs are usually based on Chinese and Japanese theories of art and often are elements of traditional paintings translated into precious metals and gems.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
