18 Karat Yellow Gold Drop Pendant Necklace with Diamonds and Paraiba Tourmaline
About the Item
The Plum Blossom drop pendant necklace is made of 18 karat yellow gold. It is encrusted with 5 round diamonds and a removable drop of natural paraiba tourmaline in pear cut that can be detached. This collection was designed by Berlin-based oil painter Polya Medvedeva and has been featured in Vogue UA. We use top-quality natural diamonds with a VS clarity and F-G color grade, and work with a reputable German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The sculptural design of the necklace adds extra highlights to the surface of the gold, while the diamonds provide delicate sparkle. The drop can be replaced with another semi-precious or precious gemstone.
Each piece is custom handmade, and you can contact the artist to order it in 14 or 18 karat white, rose, or yellow gold.
The plum blossom is a symbol of the energy of life, as these trees bloom at the end of winter. The composition of these flowers reflects a modern style that is both sophisticated and unique.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
