Antique 1920s art deco Swedish drop necklace. This stunning necklace features an elegant diamond crown with two faux pearl drops set in platinum. The central diamond measuring 0.25ct white diamond alongside a crown of thirteen diamonds totaling 0.19ct. The pearls are incredibly exquisite. This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, oval shaped frame displays a stunning feature carved mother of pearl panel depicting Mary in prayer* to the nadir of the design. This mother of pearl pendant is embellished with a paralleling sun burst style millegrain decorated setting ornamented with fifty pavé set diamonds, in a combination of eight and mine cuts. This Marian pendant suspends from a contemporary 18k white gold 18" trace chain via a tapering ring loop to the upper border of the design, accented with two further pavé set diamonds; the chain secures with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening. The pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This mother of pearl and diamond pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
