About the Item

This stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian aquamarine necklace has been crafted in platinum and 18k yellow gold. The articulating linear drop of the necklace features an impressive pear faceted cut aquamarine, suspended from a round faceted cut aquamarine encompassed with eight collet set diamonds in a cluster formation. The exceptional cluster design articulates from an impressive paired leaf design, ornamented with six pavé set diamonds and a floral collet set diamond motif, in a combination of Old European and eight cuts. This pensile drop attaches to a central collet set oval faceted cut aquamarine. The feature platinum and seed pearl necklace setting is embellished with two further collet set oval faceted aquamarines, accented with impressive swag designs, reflecting that of the upper setting. This impressive Edwardian aquamarine necklace suspends from a platinum chain and secures to the reverse with a push fit fastening. This stunning necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive aquamarine necklace with pearls is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. This antique necklace is fitted to the original leatherette presentation box with satin and velvet lined contoured interior, securing with a push fit catch. The interior of the case bears the retailer's mark 'Established in Reign of King George III 1796, Wm Lund & Son, Goldsmiths, silversmiths Etc, 56 & 57 Cornhill, E.C.'. This stunning necklace is exceptional quality and finely detailed; the piece is the finest example of its type you could hope to acquire. The original box has some minor staining to the cover, however can still be considered in presentation condition. The pendant is an excellent gauge of gold and platinum and is in excellent condition.
