Antique Amethyst Necklace
18ct Gold Clasp
Circa 1900
The most fabulous, Edwardian necklace. Beautifully threaded with natural seed pearls, suspended from which are thirteen, gorgeous, graduated amethysts.
The amethysts are faceted & oval in shape the largest being approximately 22.3mm in width & the smallest 14.8mm.
The necklace feature a lovely gold torpedo clasp.
Length measures approximately 17 inches & width 3mm
There is some slight rubbing to the stones which would be expected of a piece this age, but no chips or cracks & has been fully inspected.
This would be a fabulous addition to any antique jewellery collection & a beautiful, special occasion accessory.
