Magnificent necklace designed by Picchiotti.
Absolutely gorgeous festoon necklace, created in Valenza Italy by the jewelry house of Picchiotti. This gorgeous pair is a one of a kind piece made and only one was made following the drawings of Giuseppe Picchiotti. It was crafted with impeccable details in solid white gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Embellished with a terrific arrangement of one thousand two hundred six natural and earth mined gemstones, such; colorless diamonds and intense red rubies. Fitted with an integrated and discrete security box lock with a hinged slash for extra safety.
Diamonds: Mounted in a pave setting, with 684 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 18.27 carats, white colorless F/G color, VVS clarity.
Rubies: Mounted in a pave setting, with 522 calibrated round brilliant cut natural vivid red rubies, with a total of 21.94 carats.
Birthstone: Rubies for the month of July.
Weight: 187.65 Grams, (123.8 Dwt).
Size: Fit a neck up to 16 Inches (40 Cm).
Measurements: The width go from 52 mm to 18 mm (2.04 to 0.71 Inches).
Hallmarks Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "PICCHIOTTI .750 *1952AL".
Picchiotti
The company was founded in Valenza, Italy, in 1967, the brand name Picchiotti defines always one-of-a-kind Fine Jewelry. The founder Giuseppe Picchiotti, over the course of five decades, has nurtured and fashioned the brand which has earned an international reputation for craftsmanship, quality and artistry. Coming from a long line of distinguished pharmacists, Giuseppe had to break with tradition to follow his dream. Against his family's wishes, at the age of 13, Giuseppe began working as a goldsmith. He apprenticed in a small workshop in Valenza where world-renowned artists were perfecting their craft. He moved on to study at Valenza's Istituto Professionale Orafo, obtaining the knowledge and training necessary to start his own atelier. Giuseppe opened his atelier with his sister, Annamaria. Today, this highly successful, world-renowned enterprise is run by Giuseppe and seven family members. Each family member is responsible for a different aspect of the company and each contributes greatly to its success. Picchiotti comments: "Since the very beginning I always liked the idea that one day I would surround myself with my children and relatives to help me with the business." Giuseppe Picchiotti has started a tradition of design mastery that will live on through generations – a tradition of fine craftsmanship – and a grand passion for excellence in the making of Fine Jewelry.
